In Honor of Our Veterans

In Flanders Fields John McCrae
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders Fields.

Blessing #10~Those who answer the call to serve. Who risk everything for our right to live and be free. THANK YOU!

Beautiful post, Rhonda. Thanks for the reminder that tomorrow is Veteran's Day. We owe so much to those who have fought and those who continue to fight for our freedom.

When I think of the young men and women that literally lay down their lives just for us and our country, it brings me to my knees in thankfulness.
A hugh THANK YOU to them from me!
