Smooches

It has been cold and rainy all weekend ~ sooo thankful for the rain! On days like this, the mind turns to visions of comfort foods...something warm and soothing.

Hmmm, chili sounds good.....and I made Penny's cornbread recipe to go with it.

Dinner was delicious, but it needed something.....what could it be.....Oh, yes! I know....Smooches!

"Hey, little helper, wanna help me make cookies?" "SURE, MOM!"

Chocolate-Hazelnut Smooches~Recipe from Giada on Everyday Italian.

Gather Ingredients

Mix the dry together

Cream Butter and Sugars

Turn it into dough~my little helper needed a sample:)

Roll in Colored Sugar

Put'em in a pan~well, really,
a cookie sheet

Unwrap the Kisses....wait a minute, I know there were more in this bowl....little helper, do you know anything about this? "HeHeHe...."

8 minutes later....Give'em a smooch

FINALLY.....Down the hatch!

Here you go, this one is for you~Enjoy!

BTW~ Please check out the Seasons Greetings audio on the side bar~my little helper and I made it just for you:)

Rhonda!!
I love your greeting and hearing your voices!

Your cookies look good enough to eat right through the monitor. I'll be over later today for some.

What a nice thought, popping over to your place for an afternoon...

Love,
Julie

Good Morning Rhonda,
Congratulations on your "A BLOG WITH A HEART AWARD". By looking and reading your blog, I can see why BJ gave it to you. I am coming by way of BJ of Sweet Nothings. That Chilli, Cornbread, and cookies looks so yummalicious. Makes me want to grab thru my monitor and grab it. LOL. I love to watch Giada also. Have you seen her "Weekend Getaway" on Friday nights? I love watching that too. It was nice to meet you. You can visit my blog. It is called Karen's Korner. I am still fairly new to blogging and still have lots to learn. Take care my friend and again Congratulations on your Award. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

My cookies NEVER come out looking that perfect. Not ever. Those are stunning. And they look really really yummy.

If you ever want a chili recipe that is so easy its scary and so good it's embarrassing how little you did to make it, let me know. :)

You have the sweetest southern accent I've ever, ever heard! It's really cool to hear the voice of someone that I feel like I know. I wanna figure out how to do that =) Blessings... Polly (p.s. the cookies look pretty scrumptious too)
