New Day

Looks like it's going to be a great DAY:)

I just love days that have you raring to go as soon as you wake-up. Today is one of those days. I have lots of items to accomplish on my To Do list and I am ready to meet the challenge:) Many of these things involve being outside today and tomorrow...yeap, it looks like I'm going to get that chance to play in the dirt! The temps are supposed to be in the low 60's~YIPPIE!!

By the end of the day, I will be aching and sore from head to foot, my clothes will be covered in dirt stains and my hair will smell like smoke from the brush fire I will create to clear and clean-up my garden area. I will drag myself in at dark, devor whatever is in the fridge, take a very long, very hot shower and probably fall asleep sitting in my chair reading a book. Now, doesn't that sound inviting?!!! Hope you girls have a great weekend, and I will see you on Monday.

Oh I am so jealous of your weather! Cold and snowy here and no chance of diging in the dirt yet. Only about another month though and I can start to think about spring. Hope you had a great time out in the garden!

I'm ready to get into my garden, too! First one I've had in several years. I'm having one at my farmhouse this year. Fixin to till it up and get busy! The weather here was wonderful Saturday - must have been 65 at least. It was t-shirt weather. Today it's about 70 and 95% humidity. Yuck. I'm so ready for spring. I NEED sunshine.

Different subject - you always raised chickens or did you just start at some point? I have thought of it, but don't know squat about it. :) Vickie
