Birds & Blooms

5 Days and counting~ Spring is just around the corner!! Here are some indicators that the long awaited season is upon us...

Daffodils are shining like the sun...

Greenleaf Alba is sending its sweet perfume though the air...

Forsythia is in full bloom....

Bradford Pear blossoms are bursting open everywhere...

And...The Bluebirds are returning...heeheehee;) This sweet little lady came by way of Kathy at Kathy's Cottage. Little Miss Bluebird is so adorable, I'm glad she has found a spot here at my house to make her nest:) If she looks outside, she can watch her distant cousins as they flit around looking for nesting materials and tasty bug treats.

Most of you know Kathy, but if you don't, hop over and check out her beautiful creations, tell her I said "Hi!"

I wanted to send out a big~Thanks~ to everyone for your get well wishes!! You guys are the greatest:) We are gratefully feeling like our old selves again.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

~Rhonda

Hi Rhonda! Love the pics of the flowers. I've been meaning to post some from our neck of the woods and haven't gotten to it. Your green Alba (or whatever you called it) looks alot like something we have (Daphne Adora). It smells so amazingly sweet. I want to plant many around my property. I only wished their blooms and fragrance lasted all year long.

So glad you guys are feeling well again.

OK, Rhonda...tell it to me straight...those are not spring photos for real...are they? We still have dirty snow piles around here, you can't possibly have gorgeous blooming flowers...do you? Please don't make a grown woman cry....tell me it ain't so.
