Out of the Mouths of Babes

Yesterday morning I had this conversation with my son about the doctor's visits scheduled for this morning:

Mom: "Tommorrow, we will get up early and go down to the doctors to do your Sweat Test."

Son: "Is the Sweat Test going to hurt?"

Mom: "No, it won't. The nurse said that they do not use any needles for the test. After we finish there we will go and have another X-ray. We are praying that it will show that your lungs are clear."

Son: "You don't need to pray for that."

Mom: "Why not?"

Son: "Because it is OK. I don't feel anything anymore."

Tears welled up in my eyes. Could it be that he had felt the hand of God and he already knew that he was healed?

The X-ray today confirmed that his lungs are indeed clear. We do not have the results of the Sweat Test yet, but the doctor told me that he does not feel that he has CF.

We are rejoicing and dancing the jig here.

To all who lifted up my son with your prayers, I will never be able to find the words to express my most sincere gratitude. Thank you , thank you so much!

I always say, God answers knee-mail.

That is wonderful news and I'm dancing with you! But, like Meggie said, please let us know the results anyway.
