Cath Kidston's

Look what I found while out shopping the other day....It is filled to the brim with wonderful ideas on how to incorporate vintage linens in your home....I love it!!
I have quite a collection of vintage linens...most of which are just being stored. After the holidays, I am going to dive in head first and see what I can create. That should be a lovely way to spend some cold winter days:)

Awsome book. I am looking for a few old hankies to put in photo frames for my office. Any ideas?

Wow, Rhonda!! I just love vintage linens. I don't have that many yet but that's always the first thing I look at when we go into our local antique stores. I'm trying not to go overboard with another collection like I usually do. I'm trying to just find the ones I really like that have all my colors that I use. Lately I've been drawn to tablecloths. Some things just speak to me when I walk by them, "Pssst, Hope, oh Hope..." lol
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Hope

I, too, love vintage linens, too. I never know what to do with them, tho, and just hate putting things away and never using them. I keep thinking, "why collect them if I'm not going to use them...". Let me know what all you come up with!
hugs, bj

Rhonda..what a great book. You are sure to have some fun creating.
I missed some of your last post so I had some catching up to do. I'm still shopping, but nearly finished then the wrapping, but I love doing this. That is a lovely runner you made. I took a weaving class and made two scarfs, it was fun and I like to try some other projects. Have a nice weekend. Linda

Lucky you to find that book. That table cloth is stunning in color! That shopping picture - that is soooo not me. That looks crazy! I really don't like shopping of anytype (except browsing in antique and thift stores of course) so to have been involved in that would have provoked rage. Trust me, you don't want to see an angry Esther. I can string choice words together that would make a sailor blush! Have a great weekend! Love you Rhonda! Esther

Thanks for the book recommendation! I'm getting to the use-it-or-lose-it point with most of my vintage linens.
