Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I'm off doing my Santa shopping today:)

I know that several people are participating in Karla's Christmas open house....and although I did not sign-up officially, I thought I would show a couple of the decorations around my house.

My sister gave me this bell wreath several years ago....I love the sound it makes.

This was a simple idea~ I found this little carved box at a thrift shop.

My son wanted a Christmas tree in his room. I found this little boot tree at KOHL'S for 55% off and the Peanuts and Rudolph ornaments are just the right size:)

I wove the runner on this table. When I was in college I took a weaving class. I fell in love with weaving and one day I hope to own my own loom.

Oh, sweet Sadie, I envy you all cuddled up and cozy under the tree as I go out to swim against the crowds. Take a little nap for me:)

I'll be back this afternoon and,I look forward to going around to everyone and seeing your decorations.

You wove that?! That's incredible! And I love the big shiny ball in the wooden box. Things like that are so fun.

I keep my trusty water bottle by me at all times. Seems my Piglet just can't get enough of the tree.

Everything is so cute, Rhonda. I love the bell wreath. I saw Martha Stewart make one and thought about doing it myself. But your was of getting it was MUCH easier. The stocking tree is adorable. But that runner! It's gorgeous. You should be so proud.

Love,
Julie

Love the bell wreath! My son has a small tree too. It is the craziest looking Charlie Brown tree but he loves it! That boot is very cute.

Friday is my finish all my shopping day. Not looking forward to the mass crowds.

Happy Holidays!

Sadie sure has the right idea. Unfortunately, while snoozing not a lot gets done. I'm impressed that you wove the table runner...very nice! Hope your shopping trip was successful.

Hi, Rhonda..just wondering how your shopping went yesterday. i am getting ready to go to the groc. store (I'm bringing a pizza, some microwave bacon for in the morning, some sweets, OF COURSE!) and some Raspberry Ice to the slumber party, oh, and some popcorn and a favorite movie). While I am out, I plan to hit a few thrift shops. Something tells me there may be a Santa Clause boot with my name on it!! I want one soooooo bad!
hugs and have a good day....
