Ready, Set, Go

OK. I am probably the last person on earth who doesn't blog. As a matter of fact until yesterday I had never even read a blog. It's true I swear. I have spent the last 2 days discovering "the art". I followed a link from an e-bay auction and suddenly I stumbled onto a kindred spirit ( actually several). I am referring in particular to Polly at Count Your Blessings. Never has a person I have never met had such a profound effect on me. OK, before I start sounding like a crazed groupie, I am talking about inspiration. For years, if not all my life, I have had creative ideas flowing through my veins and for the most part, I have allowed other things to take precedent. Well I'm ready to turn loose. Hopefully I won't fall flat on my face, if so, I'll just get back up and go again.

I'll wrap up tonight by saying as a newbie it is highly probable that I will commit some blogging faux pas. I would appreciate being enlightened if such an instance does occur, but please be kind, I bruise easily =)

Me too!!! I too was inspired by a blogger-- "A Foothill Home Companion". I too have all kinds of ideas that have been pushed aside for waaaaaaay too long. I too am so very inspired... and yet intimidated by this whole blogging thing. Yay, I'm NOT alone!!! Oh, and one last "me too"-- I have now spent several days (!!!) just trying to create a basic blog!

I am so impressed that you discovered blogs on one day, and managed to create such a lovely and literate sight the very next day!

It looks like we started around the same time, so we'll probably make those faux pas together! Thank you for your kind comments on my blog, and I look forward to visitng you often in cyberspace.

Oh, and I love the cat!
xoxo.

Welcome to blogging, I think you will find that bloggers are some of the nicest people you will ever "meet." I look forward to checking your blog and seeing where you go with it:>)
